Who are we? 

 Mt. Evans Trio is:

 

Deborah Davidson-Stanfill, Clarinet

Deborah's training includes undergraduate work at the University of Colorado and a Master of Music degree from Arizona State University. She performs with the Jefferson Symphony, where she has been a frequent soloist, and with the Denver Municipal Band. She has also performed for many parties, receptions and weddings and with other Denver groups such as the Cherry Creek Chorale, the Denver Philharmonic, the Arapahoe Philharmonic, and the Lutheran Chorale. She has two recordings, "Cool Creek Clarinet," and "Christmas with Suite Sounds." In addition, Deborah teaches instrumental music in the public schools.

 

 

Kathleen Romanyshyn, Cello

Kathleen Romanyshyn earned her B. A. in Music Education at California State University at Fullerton. She earned her Suzuki teaching certificate from Denver University. She now teaches cello privately at her home in Westminster and at Arapahoe Community College, where she is also principal cello of the Arapahoe Community College String Orchestra. She was a member of the Jefferson Symphony Orchestra for 12 years. She also plays with Musica Sacra Chamber Orchestra at Augustana Lutheran Church in Denver. Kathleen plays regularly at her church, Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Wheat Ridge.  

 

 

Karen Laine, Piano

Karen has more than 20 years of performing experience, including solo, chamber groups, choral accompanying, vocal accompanying, instrumental accompanying, orchestral, music theatre, and opera.  Her education includes a Bachelor of Music from New Mexico State University and a Master of Music from Arizona State University.  Since moving to the Denver area, she has performed with the Arapahoe Symphony and the Jefferson Symphony, and has accompanied concerts, recitals, and auditions.

 

We are available for weddings, receptions, and other concert venues.
